About Our Meningitis B Vaccination Service
As we welcome the brighter days of spring, maintaining your immunity remains a vital part of staying healthy and active. While the NHS provides boosters for specific high-risk groups, Broadstone Village Pharmacy offers a private COVID-19 vaccination service for those who may not be eligible under the national program or who simply prefer the speed and convenience of a local, independent setting.

Eligibility for the NHS MenB Vaccination Service
You may be eligible for the NHS MenB vaccine if you are:1. A Year 13 pupil in the 2025/26 academic year
This applies to individuals born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008.2. Starting university for the first time in Autumn 2026
This applies to individuals born on or after 21 July 2001 who will be attending university as an undergraduate for the first time in Autumn 2026.3. Starting further education for the first time in Autumn 2026 and living in residential accommodation
This applies to individuals born on or after 21 July 2001 who will be starting further education for the first time in Autumn 2026 and living in further education accommodation or halls of residence.Eligibility will be checked at the appointment. Students entering university or further education may need to provide evidence that they are starting for the first time in the 2026/27 academic year.
The MenB vaccination course is usually two doses of Bexsero, given at least 4 weeks apart. First doses are available from 20 July 2026.
- Location: In our private, onsite consultation room at Broadstone Village Pharmacy.
- Availability: Flexible slots are available throughout the week, including morning and afternoon options.
- Eligibility: This private service is available to adults and children (subject to current age guidelines) who are not currently exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms.
