What is Cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy is an advanced, targeted freezing treatment that uses extreme cold (nitrous oxide or liquid nitrogen) to safely destroy unwanted skin tissue. The ultra-precise application targets only the lesion, leaving surrounding healthy skin unaffected and promoting fast, natural healing. Treatments are virtually painless, take only a few minutes, and require minimal to no downtime.
What Conditions Can We Treat?
Our trained healthcare professionals treat a wide range of benign skin lesions, including:
- Skin Tags: Common soft growths often found on the neck, armpits, eyelids, or under clothing friction points.
- Warts & Verrucas: Stubborn viral skin infections on the hands, feet, or body that haven't responded to over-the-counter treatments.
- Age Spots & Sun Spots (Solar Lentigines): Flat, darkened patches of skin caused by sun exposure or natural aging.
- Milia: Small, hard, white bumps beneath the skin's surface, typically around the eyes and cheeks.
- Cherry Angiomas: Small, bright red spots or bumps caused by a collection of tiny blood vessels.
Please Note: Before treatment, our clinical team will thoroughly assess your skin lesion to ensure it is suitable for cryotherapy. Any lesions displaying irregular shapes, changing colors, or potential signs of skin cancer will be referred to your GP for further medical investigation.

What to Expect: Your Treatment Journey
Our cryotherapy process is fast, straightforward, and carried out in a private clinical environment—guiding you seamlessly from your initial assessment to clear, healthy skin.
Initial Consultation
We examine your skin lesion, take a brief medical history, and explain the procedure. If suitable, treatment can usually be performed during the same appointment.
The Procedure
Using a fine-point precision applicator, cold gas is delivered directly to the lesion. You may feel a slight stinging or cold sensation for a few seconds, but the process is quick and well-tolerated.
Aftercare & Recovery
The treated area may turn slightly red or form a minor blister. Over the next 7 to 14 days, the targeted tissue dries up, darkens, and naturally flakes off, revealing healthy new skin underneath.
